This Chi works great! My daughter has very thick, wavy hair that tends to "poof" in humid weather. The Chi GF1001ND straightens her hair quickly and easily. Her hair looks so shiny, straight, and frizz-free now! I love that Chi is made in the USA. The only drawback to this model is that the temperature is displayed in Centigrade.

Excellent Product
I purchased this for my college age sister who was fond of one belonging to her roommate. She tried it out the same day she opened and hasn't stopped raving since. Her hair is a bit over processed and this flat iron improves the condition, look and feel of it. The difference in texture of her hair after just one use was amazing. It heats up very quickly and retains an even temperature throughout styling. An additional bonus is the nano-silver technology which help to kill bacteria which means she can allow her roommates to borrow it without worry. Great product at a great price.

Chi flat iron
I have only had a month, but so far,I love it. I received it quickly. It works great. It was worth the extra money. I have been through 3 flat irons in the last 2 years. Maybe this one will last longer.

Great- for a few weeks
I loved this flat iron when I first purchased it five weeks ago. This morning, however, I turned it on, it fried a strip of my hair, and the power cut off. It won't even turn on now. Buyer beware: if you purchase online, the manufacturer will not take it back!

Good flat iron, great price!
This is a good flat iron at a really great price! My only complaint is that my hair gets in between the ceramic plate and the plastic holding it and it rips my hair out.

This flat iron is awesome! The fact that it's handle is like a curling iron's instead of a V-design makes the handling of the item so much easier. Less burning of the ears and neck!!! I get wonderful results in a quicker time than with the traditional designed flat iron. I HIGHLY recommend this item!

Gets the Job Done
My hair is naturally wavy and I usually like to keep it that way. However, the few times I do wear it straight, I don't really want to spend a lot of time fiddling with, especially in the morning. Probably the biggest slower-downer when it comes to flat irons is getting them heated up quickly, and keeping them hot.

Well you simply won't have that problem with the CHI. It heats up fast, AND stays that way. Because its ceramic, its a bit pricey, but I feel its well worth it. I probably wouldn't mess with lesser brands, especially if they're not ceramic- as with many things, you get what you pay for.

love this straightner....
I purchased this at a great price (found one where the box was damaged, so i got it at a discount) but it is definetly worth the money. I have gone through many flat irons (usually buying them from drug stores) and this is the first one where my hair actually feels great. it is very smooth, my hair gets wavy and frizzy from water, and this works great. def worth the price.

Awesome iron at an Awesome price
I had heard so many great things about the CHI that I wanted to try it...but I couldn't see spending over 0. Then I found this seller online. The price seemed too good to be true, but they claimed to have a great return policy. My iron came within days, it is identical to the iron I could buy at a high end salon, and I love it. The CHI is well worth the money (Having tried it, I would now pay 0). This seller is awesome and the product is too.

this flat iron has been an affordable, great deal for my daughter, she uses it everyday, sometimes twice a day - she has somewhat straight hair with a wave, this smooths all waves out and leaves her hair very straight for how she wants it!

I LOVED this CHI! My first one gave out and I needed one badly, but didnt want to pay a ton for another. This shipped SO fast! It came in perfect condition in the box. I have had no problems and hopefully it will last me as long as my first.

Great for short hair..not for long hair
This product leaves kinks in my hair very easily and burns fingers while trying to create curls. This is better for short hair.

Lightweight product delivers professional results!
This lightweight product is easy to use and perfect if you have arthritis in your hand or fingers. I had trouble just holding other flat irons and curling irons. This combines the two and makes it easy to fix your own hair.

These was the lowest price I found this iron and it honestly performs amazingly well. One of the few instances where the tool matters more than the operator.

pulled my hair
Have been looking around for a styling iron for some time and thought I had found "the one". However, this volumizing iron is disappointing...
my hair got caught and pulled in the small gap in the plates too many times that I finally decided to return it. Such a shame 'coz if not for that I would have kept it.

My product was received brand new in a box in excellent condition and in a very timely manner. I was kept up-to-date on the status and would definately purchase again from Amazon. This product was also about less than they were selling it for in the store.

Anti-Chi
First off, before I bought the Sedu I had a Chi. I bought into all of the hype and got one for Christmas. It just stopped working one day out of the blue, and it never did much for my naturally wavy thick long hair. Well, after doing my research, I bought a Sedu. I have never been happier. It cut down my straightening time by more than half! I now straighten my hair in less than twenty minutes. I straighten it in the morning, sleep on it at night, and don't have to restraighten it the next morning. Ever get that annoying "bump" when you're straightening your hair in the back and can't fix it no matter HOW many times you run the straightener over it? Yeah, you don't have that problem at ALL with this. I get so many compliments on my hair when I use this. I would reccomend it to anyone! Its definitely a great investment. Trust me.

i really want to buy this sedu flat iron. i placed the order on 27 sept and expected it to arrive in thailand on 1 to 7 oct. but out of the blue, i received email from folica and amazon that my order was cancelled, without any explanation, but my credit card was not charged. can anyone tell me what is going on? i sent email to folica and amazon, but so far, no feed back from them yet. SOS.

I have been Sedu-ced.
This is a lovely to hold, light, and easy to use, flat iron. My hair stays straight and smooth from wash to wash - three days. Australian buyers should be aware the plug will need changing but I fully expected this and it was an easy, inexpensive job.

not for americans
this must be a great product but its a 220V so if you live in america, beware its not for you. the seller did take it back and was very prompt with the refund. But don't waste your time buying it. And if you know anyone on amazon who sells a sedu please let me know, cause we can only see UK or european editions.

The best straightener ever!
I have very frizzy, dry hair, but this straightener does not seem to damage it at all! No hair straightener but this one can tame my thick, curly hair. My hair stays straight and frizz-free until I wash it again.
